Oakworth Remembrance Trail

Oakworth Remembrance Trail for our village.

In partnership with Keighley Town Council and supported by Keighley Army Cadets, we have produced a Remembrance Trail, which consists of information boards on lamp posts around the village.

These feature 96 local men who died in the two World Wars and each board is situated close to the house they lived in before the war.
In the run up to Remembrance Day they are intended to highlight where the homes were, of the men who did not return from serving in the two World Wars.

We held a launch event on 30th October 2025, to start the Trail off in the village when all the boards were installed.
