This memorial is in storage at Keighley Civic Centre.

This memorial was discovered in a storage room in a former church building, to the rear of where St. Peter’s Church was located on South Street, Keighley. For many years, it was thought to be lost. It was handed over to Project Director Andy Wade after it had been found in a building which was originally part of St Peter’s Church in Keighley, which was situated on South Street in Keighley.
It is held in storage on behalf of The Men of Worth Project, by Keighley and District Local History Society in their Keighley Civic Centre archive rooms. We would like to find a new permanent home for it, but for the moment it is in safe keeping.

It is very similar in form to the St. John’s Church roll of honour.

The inscription reads as follows:

FOR KING AND COUNTRY. PARISH CHURCH. ST PETERS KEIGHLEY. ROLL OF HONOUR. AUGUST 4TH 1914.
